A Leicester-headquartered fashion apparel maker which holds licenses for the likes of Disney, PlayStation, Xbox, Hasbro and Netflix has reported strong financial results and is targeting £500m turnover in the next five years.

BM Fashions (Holdings), which trades as Fashion UK, has a portfolio of key global brands covering the range from babywear to kids to adult on daywear, nightwear, outerwear, essentials, swimwear and accessories.

The company operates its own in-house UK print facility.

Accounts for BM Fashions (Holdings) show turnover reached £183.4m in the year to 31 July 2023, up from £180.5m.

Pre-tax profits went from £9.1m to £8.9m, while gross profits rose from £21.6m to £25.7m.

A statement signed off by the board said: “Sales and profits were higher compared to last year.

“Gross margins improved but administrative expenses increased during the period.”

A spokesperson for the company added: “Our strategic plans will see the business grow to £500m turnover over the next five years.”
